Fallon walks out of hospital after fright at Newbury

Good news update from the UK's Racing Post: Jockey Kieren Fallon has walked out of a hospital after being treated for a kick to the upper leg by a maiden filly he was set to ride Friday at Newbury.

A spokesman for the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading said Fallon was OK.

"He came in about 5:30 p.m. and he walked out ... two minutes ago," the spokesman said around 6:40 p.m. local time.

There's even talk that Fallon might not miss his mounts on Saturday's card.

I was worried for him, but I do know those Irish boys are tough.
